2024 Curriculum
Course structure of the S1 Biomedical Engineering program, competency-based and aimed toward AUN-QA accreditation.
Curriculum structure
Eight semesters, 149 credits, with medical instrumentation as the main specialization.
The first three years build the foundations of engineering, biology, and signal processing. The Internship and the Integrated Design Project are in semester six, the Pre-Final Project in semester seven, and the Final Project in semester eight.
The Biomedical Engineering Practicum runs for four consecutive semesters, from semester three to six, and is the backbone of the medical instrumentation specialization.
Two supporting fields grow on top of it: ICT for health, and AI, robotics, and IoT. Both are deepened through eight elective slots in the last three semesters.
